Rules of the City

Freehold is a neutral city in Agon.  Our militia operates as mercenaries, and our bindstone is open to whomever wishes to pay the rent to remain there.  We welcome crafters, traders and anyone else who is looking for a place to do their business.

That being said, we have a very few rules which we require anyone that wishes to remain a guest in our city to abide by.

Specific Rules:

General Rules:

1) What happens outside, stays outside.

What this means is that if it didn't happen in Freehold, it's none of our business.  We do not ally with anyone that doesn't reside in the city, and we don't care who destroyed your alliance, stole your horse, took your loot, insulted your mother - so long as they did it somewhere else.

If you come into freehold, keep your weapons away unless you are working on skills at the bloodwall.  While you are here, you're on neutral ground.

2) No attacking others within the domain.

There are specific places that attacking other people is allowed.  The fight club, located on the eastern side of the keep, and the blood-wall.  Also, you may fight in the city under the supervision of a tournament which are sometimes offered.

If you wish to participate in defense, you must register yourself with the Marshal on duty, as being weapon-out during an attack may get you labeled as a hostile.

For the purposes of this rule, 'within the domain' means within sight of the walls, inside or out.

3) The supernodes belong to the city

The grove and quarry are there for the city to use to build the city.  Unless you have made special arrangements, do not tap them.

4) Don't be a douchebag.

If you have a problem with someone, you are probably best off dealing with them outside the walls rather than trying to antagonize them inside.  Don't do anything to anyone you wouldn't want done to you.  If you fail to abide by this rule, we'll boot you.
